After a lot of frustration with the workings of Usenet, I'm
starting to get tired of it. I have STadel which is an offshoot
of Citadel and it has networking capabilities. Some of the
capabilities are a bit unclear. For example, the documentation
does not state clearly if I can connect with Fidonet. Not that
that's likely much loss. I wasn't impressed with the message
content on Fidonet anyway. However, if anybody in the Toronto
area wants to start building up an informal Atari ST network
based on the STadel software, send me Net mail in reply to this
message. I've been running the software for a year or so now
and it's not wonderful, but it seems to be stable. I would like
to set up a small set of overnight connections with maybe a couple
of other Atari ST people.
Failing that, if anyone has some local Toronto BBS numbers
for ST related boards, preferably with some reasonably intelligent
people, I would appreciate receiving that much. The last BBS
I was attached to folded some time ago.
