I am looking for a grammatic checker for the atari ST. Something like Grammatik IV from Reference Software for the IBM PC would be great. Is there anything similar available for the ST? I am using First Word Plus for my writing and am quite happy with it, except for the missing thesaurus and grammatic checker. Any suggestions and comments are welcome. Please reply by e-mail. Thanks. -- ***** Rolf Riesen Albuquerque, New Mexico rriesen@hydra.unm.edu

There is (or was) a grammar checker demo on atari.archive.umich.edu called gramslam.lzh. It may have been nuked when the archive crashed. If its not there now I will re-upload it. - Todd Todd Miller | Whenever you side with the majority on millert@tramp.Colorado.EDU | issues of morality it is time to rethink al804@cleveland.Freenet.Edu | your position. GramSlam is the only grammar checker for the ST that I know of. It's available from: Phil Comeau Software 43 Rueter Street Nepean Ontario K2J 3Z9 Canada. I am told that it is somewhat similar to Grammatik for the PC. I cannot comment on it since I haven't used it; and I SHOULDN'T comment on it since I know Phil slightly ...... As someone mentioned, there is a demo at atari.archive. Roger
