I am posting this mesage for a friend, please direct all replies via email to his address, which I will post at the end of the message. Message Follows: I have finally gotten just about everything I need to get TeX running on my 1040st. I have run some .TEX files through LaTeX and gotten the appropriate .DVI file, and used SHOWDVI to view it. Now, the only thing I cant seem to do is print it out. I have the dviprint file, but I don't know if I have the right fonts, or if I have them in the right places. I have tex on drive e: in the directory e:\tex\.. in that i have the \macros and \tfm, and I have a folder called \showdvi which containt the dviprint program. Now what I need to know is what kind of fonts is the dviprint looking for and where do I put them? I have a bunch of pkxxx fonts, which there is a reference to in the docs for dviprint (not very thorough documentation.) I got the dvifnts1 and dvifnts2 from atari.archive and unzoo'd them, which created a directory called \fonts which has a structure like this: \fonts\cmr10\pk100 \cmx20\pk230 and stuff like that.. any help would be appreciated. I am willing to do this by phone, I will pay for the call, of course. Thanks -Frank Rachel Email:dnd15j16@umiami.miami.edu Voice:305/284-3212 - ANYTIME ------------end message-------------
