[comp.sys.atari.st] Info wanted for BeckerCAD, Drafix, and BETA-CAD

martins@resrch.molienergy.bc.ca (Martin Siebert) (12/04/90)

Hai There,

Currently I am considering purchasing a CAD package for my Atari. But before
I plunge ahead I like some more information about the following packages:

         BeckerCAD
         Drafix
         BETA CAD

So if there are any users of these programs that read this could you give me
some feedback. One thing I wonder about is the import/export of drawings
to AUTOCAD format. Also for anyone familiar with the SKETCH program from
AUTODESK, how do the above programs compare with it.

Thanks in advance,

Martin Siebert

BTW my system is a 1040st with a 40 Mbyte HD.

I don't know much about CAD on the ST, but have you heard of
DynaCADD? Supposedly, this is the best, although probably the most
expensive too. I also don't know if it will run on a 1040. You may
need more RAM. Just a thought.
