[comp.sys.atari.st] What's up with Mark Williams?

harryk@bucsf.bu.edu (Harry Karayiannis) (12/10/90)

Am I missing something? I knew that Mark Williams Co. stopped
supporting the ST, but I didn't know they also moved their headquarters
elsewhere (are they out of business?) I sent them a letter and it returned
back 'undelieverd' with an "Unable to forward" stamp on the envelope.
I also tried to call them but the number was disconnected......
so what's going on? Does anyone know anything about this one?

					thanks in advance................

PS. I think it's time to take a closer look at Borland Hmbg & TURBO-C v 2.00
At least they will stay around for a long time (everyone say how great
TURBO-C is and in Germany ST is still a hit)

Last I heard, Mark Williams company had a major hit with Coherent for PC
compatibles. Their phone number was changed from the old 689-2300 to
291-6700 (both in area code 708). They were still supporting the ST C
compiler, but plans for bug-fixes to the debugger and maybe the resource
construction program had been dropped. The hottest project was to get a new
version of Coherent out. If you want better contact information, you might
find an ad in one of the PC magazines.
