[comp.sys.atari.st] IBM Formatting Progs

schultzd@kira.uucp (David Schultz) (01/03/91)

I've heard about problems with PS2FORM due to identical serial numbers
being placed on all disks. I've also heard about a program which does
put random serial numbers. I could not find this program.

I like to keep ALL my data disks formatted to IBM incase I need to
swap data with IBM users. (For some reason I can't convince everyone
in the world to buy an ST ;^)

PROTECT5.PRG is a resident virus-killer protector and it makes disks
readable on IBM's AND writes random serial numbers...
