I have recently acquired a copy of the executables for JRD's port of GNU C to the ST. I have installed these and attempted to compile a small file of C code under Gulam with the command gcc -v x.c -o x.tos The pre-processor runs successfully to completion but the compiler itself (gnu-cc1.ttp) exits after a short period causing the driver (GCC) to exit. I have tried this on several source files to eliminate anything in the source that might cause problems but the result is always the same. I then ran the pre-processor alone using the command gcc -E x.c >temp.cpp and checked the output file. It looked okay. I then passed this temporary file to gnu-cc1.ttp with the command gnu-cc1.ttp temp.cpp -quiet -dumpbase x.c -version -o temp.s the compiler exited after a little while with an exit code of -66. Does anybody know what is going on here and how I can fix it? Have I got a bad executable? If so can someone EMAIL me a good copy? I do not have the sources.
