[comp.sys.atari.st] Where to get ZIP for STs?

longj@lonex.radc.af.mil (Jeffrey K. Long) (01/03/91)

I thought I say a version of unzip for the ST a while back, but can't find
it anywhere.

Does someone know where I can find a program for an ST to "unzip" files that were
compacted using pkzip on an IBM?? I want to unzip only, as several picture
files I was looking for were available on a BBS in .zip form only.

There are various implementations of ST_UNZIP available practically
everywhere. Nothing fancy, but it gets the job done. It's either
Shareware or PD can't recall..

Also DC Utilities (commercial, like $30) has a ZIPper and UNZIPper.

Try retrieveing it from my mail server. Send mail to
st-requests@n6vbg.hamavnet.com with just one line saying HELP to get more
info about the server. Along with the unzipper, there are many other files.
