ggreenbe@rodan.acs.syr.edu (Gerald Greenberg) (01/17/91)

The summary says it all: can a 5 1/4" full height drive fit
in the icd fast under monitor case?
Thanks.

No, You can, however fit a single 5 1/4" half height or 2 3 1/2" hal height
drives in the case. You may be further restricted if the drives are not
imbedded SCSI, and you have to put a SCSI to whatever board in the case.

I will have to say that I have been quite pleased with mine. I used a
QUANTUM PRO 80S. No problems for >6 months now.

                                           Terry W. Reeves

Disclaimer---My opinions have nothing to do with SLAC, Stanford University, or
any of their policies.

Only one 5-1/4" drive, whereas 2 3-1/2" drives can fit.
