The other day, i posted an article about using TUNEUP and then finding problems with STlaker/STeno configuration files. Well.. i wasn't looking in the right place for STalker.inf. While the manual says that the .inf file will be saved to the root directory of the boot disk, it was in fact being save to C:\NEO\NEODESK\STalker.inf. So, while i was placing STalker.inf on the C:\ drive, and thinking my configurations were being saved to C:\STALKER.inf, it never ocurred to me to look several folders deep into NEODESK. So, there was NO problem with TUNEUP! As a matter of fact, i am confident I will be able to use TUNEUP without risk to my data. It was nice to see TUNEUP tune my C:\ in about 45 seconds. -kevin ramsiri@blake.acs.washington.edu
