[comp.sys.atari.st] Solution to hidden files

ekrimen@ecst.csuchico.edu (Ed Krimen) (01/23/91)

Because of the recent discussion in c.s.a.s.tech about hidden files
with NeoDesk, I have posted to atari.archive.umich.edu two programs
which should handle the problem.

ATTRIBUT.LZH - Lets you change the file attributes on any file. Has
               a GEM interface.

UNHIDER.LZH - Unhides a collection of files on any drive.

i think gulam can do:

	chmod -h file

since i have my own chmod, which does do this, i don't know for sure.
there ARE advantages to command shells... :-)

note that hidden files can be viewed with:

	ls -a

again, this is my own ls, gulam's may not do this...
