Because of the recent discussion in c.s.a.s.tech about hidden files with NeoDesk, I have posted to atari.archive.umich.edu two programs which should handle the problem. ATTRIBUT.LZH - Lets you change the file attributes on any file. Has a GEM interface. UNHIDER.LZH - Unhides a collection of files on any drive. -- Ed Krimen ............................................... ||| Video Production Major, California State University, Chico ||| INTERNET: ekrimen@ecst.csuchico.edu FREENET: al661 / | \ SysOp, Fuji BBS: 916-894-1261 FIDONET: 1:119/4.0

i think gulam can do: chmod -h file since i have my own chmod, which does do this, i don't know for sure. there ARE advantages to command shells... :-) note that hidden files can be viewed with: ls -a again, this is my own ls, gulam's may not do this... -bill rosenkra@convex.com -- Bill Rosenkranz |UUCP: {uunet,texsun}!convex!c1yankee!rosenkra Convex Computer Corp. |ARPA: rosenkra%c1yankee@convex.com
