Looking in the Jan 1991 issue of byte, they have an overview of Digital Research's FlexOS, a multi-user, multitasking operating system for 286/386 computers. Well, the operating system runs DOS applications, and heres the kicker, DR has ported GEM over to it, renaming it X/GEM. Current GEM applications for ms-dos work under it also. What I was wondering is: How close has Atari been working with Digital Research over these past years? And what are the possibilities of having FlexOS and X/GEM ported over to work on the ST? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ryan 'Gozar' Collins ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ o__)\ rlcollins@miavx1.BITNET / ) RC1DSANU@miamiu.acs.muohio.edu / / ____ R.COLLINS1 (On GEnie) /(____/__(_) o)_/ /) [ || ] Atari Computers, "There is no Substitute."
