Firstly, thanks for replying to my news. Alas, I don't think I
can access this atari.archive.umich.edu, would it be possible to uuencode
and send (if its not excessively big).

Secondly, the med rez program I had in mind, isn't an emulator, it's
a program to put in the auto folder, to change the desktop to medium rez.
Reason being, the STE desktop doesn't remember medium rez .INF file saves,
so you can only boot into low.

I'm still on the lookout for a selection of Signum2 PD fonts people.
Isn't there anyone out there using this package, with extra fonts to those
supplied. I have seen a PD library advertising a PD collection, but want the
ransom of 3 pounds 50.

Thanks,

Lee.

I'll send you a copy.

Don't use STE_FIX.PRG (the program you're looking for). Instead,
load DESKTOP.INF into a text editor and change the 5th line, where it
has a 12, to 13. This tells the STe to boot in monochrome, but since
you use it on a color monitor, it drops down to the next highest res.
This is what I use; it keeps one more patch program out of the AUTO
folder.
