Well, my hopes were dashed. Thought i'd be able to use CODEKEYS autorun macro to mark *.acc's to *.acx's and vice versa when installing partitions with SOFTLINK. What i dicovered (and should have realized) is that while you CAN use CODEKEYS to open your C:\ and change acc's to acx's etc.. you CAN NOT have change the directory (ie: added or deleted files) nor can you have changed the window size and shape.. since CODEKEYS works on x and y coordinates.. if happen to add or delete a file ..or if you change the window shape/size or placement on the desktop, CODEKEYS will pick a different file- whatever happens to be at those coordinates and change it!.. SO... i can't use it as a substitute for Superboot. Superboot doesn't work for me becasue it fails to run when booting partitions other than the first. Anybody have any suggestions on how I can paste together a program that will allow me to configure distinct desktops under SOFTLINK and have these desktops loaded from bootup? Do you have SUPERBTA.PRG in your AUTO folder? This allows SuperBoot to run after a reset or warmboot, according to the docs. -- Ed Krimen ............................................... ||| Video Production Major, California State University, Chico ||| INTERNET: ekrimen@ecst.csuchico.edu FREENET: al661 / | \ SysOp, Fuji BBS: 916-894-1261 FIDONET: 1:119/4.0
