[comp.sys.atari.st] Goodies!

ekrimen@ecst.csuchico.edu (Ed Krimen) (01/29/91)

I haven't done this in a while, so here goes. ;^)

Some people have been requesting Cyber/AVS animations.

 14887 avsplayr.lzh - Player for AVS animations.
262467 balldemo.lzh - Spectrum 512 animation: Kanakas (that office
toy with the swinging, shiny balls.) Converted
                      from the Amiga.
48439 bugs.lzh - AVS anim.: Bugs Bunny eating a carrot and
                      saying, "What's up, Doc?"
326594 cat.lzh - AVS anim.:"The Runaway Cat." For you furry
feline fans, it's a Caterpillar tractor, not a
                      furball. :^)
277405 catnap.lzh - Animation for the Catnap demo. I don't have
the sound for it sorry. Please forgive me. :^)
 60818 chasers.lzh - Cyber animation. Requires ANIMATE4 or similar
                      .SEQ viewer.
224435 circles.lzh - For those that have seen the new MegaSTe
brochure, this is the animation that they show
the screenshot of. It's quite good.
259503 deskvid.lzh - Another Spectrum 512 animation. It's a desktop
                      video demo.

In the next couple of days, look for:

185488 movie.lzh - A Spectrum 512 animation. This one has four
screens with different animations in each screen.
621663 mvice.lzh - AVS anim.: The Miami Vice theme played by The
                      Scuzz.
431295 raisins.lzh - AVS anim.: The California Raisins playing their
                      song.
146739 shinybub.lzh - This one's kinda old, but someone asked for it.
It's the Xanth demo with the four shiny balls
                      rotating. Shiny Bubbles.
62005 tecdelit.lzh - A good animation from a TV station in San Jose,
CA. Requires a .SEQ viewer like ANIMATE4.
101250 unicycle.lzh - A good Cyber animation of a unicycle playing
with a ball. Requires a .SEQ viewer like
                      ANIMATE4.
137853 visitor.lzh - A great animation of a UFO flying through a set
of columns. Requires a .SEQ viewer.
449702 xmas_avs.lzh - An AVS anim. for Christmas. Sorry it's a bit
                      late.

Here's a list of ones I recognize already at atari.archive in
\graphics, for those that didn't know they were there.

206955 3d_512.lzh - Spectrum 512 animation done with Unispec.
                      Requires Anispec to view.
2071 anispec.lzh - Use to view Spectrum 512 animations done with
                      Unispec.
395686 colawars.lzh - AVS anim.: Pepsi and Coke go at it.
308968 deja_vu.lzh - Good Cyber anim. of Fuji symbol spinning on a
                      scrolling platform.
155170 froggie.lzh - A cute frog being a frog. Good .SEQ animation.
154320 manta_2.lzh - A manta ray showing off his fins.
119365 pt7_step.lzh - I think it's a robot. It's pretty good.
149433 walls.lzh - Spectrum 512 animation done with Unispec.

This is part of the Dream sequence from Pixar's "Red's Dream."
Pretty good job too.

Does anyone know if the 'China Doll' animation is at atari archive?

Is this the one with the three digitized dolls spinning around at
once? It's not a .SEQ file, but a data file with a non-standard
format?
