[comp.sys.atari.st] printer buffer

I have a 1040ste with 4 megs of ram and I want to use a good chunk of
that memory (maybe 512k) for a printer buffer, like the one on apple ][
printer boards that take whatever goes to the printer and puts it in 
a buffer until it can be printed, thus freeing the computer for other
tasks. Does this exist? If so, please send it to me in mail or advise
me of an ftp site where it may be acquired. This would be especially
useful in Notator.
