[comp.sys.atari.st] usenet news/mail software

eric@abode.wciu.edu (Eric C. Bennett) (02/04/91)

The version of the usenet news/mail software that was sent to my system
last week was not functional. Is there anyone out there who is running
this software on the ST? If so, would it be possible for you to encode
it and send it to me (in pieces since I know it is over 60k).

Did anyone else succeed/fail in trying to get the binaries that were
sent to comp.sys.amiga to work?

I don't personally use an Atari ST (I got the file for a friend of
mine). But, from what I was told from the person I gave the file to,
was that it did not uncompact from its .lzh format once it was
decoded.

Any help would be appreciated.

I don't normally read this newsgroup so please respond by mail.

Eric

Ok, I obviously blew it big time here. This should be comp.binaries.atari.st,
not comp.sys.amiga. Don't ask me what I was thinking. I am not a Atari or
Amiga person. I was posting this for someone else.

We didn't get all the parts at our site. We're missing 5,6,7,11. Was
everything sent out? Usually our link is very dependable.

I checked the atari archive and volume 13 is empty. Anyone know the
scoop on that?

Yeah, it's in the Incoming directory. The stuff doesn't get sorted into the
volume directories automatically. I hope to get that set up soon.
