[comp.sys.atari.st] Making Sozobon work

L.B.Brown@newcastle.ac.uk (L.B. Brown) (02/21/91)

I have fixed the bug in dlibs so that the sozobon C compiler now works
under mupfel, gemini, monst2, pcommand etc. The bug could also have
affected any program as it was one of the memory copy functions (I can't
remember the exact .o filename). HOWEVER, terminator is getting extremely
cluttered with sozobon files so I am loath to post yet another fix. Before
I do such a thing I would like to ask if anyone has already fixed this bug
and if so have they posted the fix? Does anyone want me to?

To all those wondering which C compiler to get I recommend Sozobon as you
get a great compiler (apart from the ever decreasing bugs) for free along
with the complete source for it and all its associated programs. Its also
small enough to work on a 520 though a 1040 is slightly quicker (using a
ramdisk). I have compiled emacs 3.10, and a load of unix source with
few or no alterations, so it is not just a programming exercise by the
authors.
