I tried to use pin 2 of the monitor port on an old (rev B) 520 ST, which comes from pin 10 of the RF modulator, to control Overscan. It appears not to work. Is pin 2 not composite sync on old ST's with RF Modulators? Or is the signal computed in the Overscan document, by the two diodes and the transistor, not composite sync? It seems that the spare NAND in U14 could be used in place of the two diodes and the transistor (also need to use one of the spare invertors in U35). Anybody tried this? Also, there's ALMOST enough hardware to control overscan with GPO. Has anybody tried this? -- vsnyder@jato.Jpl.Nasa.Gov ames!elroy!jato!vsnyder vsnyder@jato.uucp
