I took another look inside of the trakball and as far as making the right button of the tball work as the right button of the mouse is not as easy as the 2600 model. I didn't bother attempting it. However, there is a much easier and better way to get two button control. Go to Radio Shack and buy their mini normally open momentary button switch. It's fairly small and can fit in the deep well underneath the regular buttons. Mount it on the top of the base, not the cover. Put it on the slanty part of the case. This way you can use your left hand to control the buttons and you right to move the trackball (unless you are left handed, then you just put the button on the right side of the trackball). Then again, get fancy and put one on both sides..... Use your index finger for the button you just put in (right mouse) and your thumb for the triangular one (left mouse) already built into the track-ball. here is a bad diagram of what I mean: -------- mount ' here ' big triangular ' button ' here ' | | BTW, remember that you have to get a brand new cable to use the right mouse button.
