depeche@cs.mcgill.ca (Acme Instant Dehydrated Boulder Kit) (03/02/91)
I just spoke to Rio computers, and the tech support guy told me that one of my problems could be solved by changing the DMA address of the supercharger to 6 instead of 3 (according to him it seems that the SUPRADRIVE clock is using device number 3). There is a utilitiy called quiet.prg which comes with the 1.4 software upgrade. I think it does what i need it to do , but it is hardcoded for DMA address 3. Does anyone have a modified version of quiet.prg which works for a supercharger in device number 6? Any help would be appreciated!! -- |S.
