Hi. Can someone please help me?
I have read the LDW Power manual and recently bought a Lotus 123
manual. I still, however, cannot seem to get what I need out of the
program!
Please let it not be ignorance/stupidity
PLEASE HELP ME!
My 'basic' data base looks as such:
Apartment # Name January February ....
1 Mary Lou $OO.OO $00.00
2 Joe Blow $00.00
3 Dixy Ray $00.00 $00.00
.
.
.
My Input Range (Reciept Format) is:
Apartment # : 2 Name : Joe Blow
Rent Amount : $300.00 Rent Being paid : $250
Month : FEBRUARY
------
I have it access the Apartment # and fill out everything else (name,
rent amount, ...) in the input range except the "Rent Being paid"
which is where the problem is.
I would like the "Rent Being paid" amount, in this case $250.00,
to be updated in a specific cell in the Data Base.
Apartment # Name January February .....
1 Mary Lou $00.00 $00.00
2 Joe Blow $00.00 (RIGHT HERE!!)
3 Dixy ray $00.00 $00.00
Obviously in a much larger Data Base I cannot and will not
go and find the address of such a cell.
I can have LDW use the @HLOOKUP function to find a value in the right
cell but I cannot seem to access the address using this function or
any other function. This would enable me to use the address and copy
the contents of Rent Being paid into the appropriate cell.
This seems like a very simple thing for a spreadsheet to do but
I probably will go bald becsause of all the hair I have been pulling
out of my head!!
Any help would be Greatly appreciated.
