[comp.sys.atari.st] Question on creation of Ultima I

Hello:
        I am currently in a non-stop conversation about the creation of 
the game, Ultima I.  

This guy I know, uses an Apple IIgs, and I use an Atari 8-bit.  He SWEARS 
that the game Ultima I was started on the Apple, but I thought that I had 
read about Lord British starting out on an Atari.

Any help?
