I'm interested in using TeX/LaTeX on my 1meg 1040STf. I was just looking in /atari/tex on atari.archive.umic.edu.and there is 10 megabytes of stuff in that directory...... Does anybody have any idea what files I would need from there to get TeX up and running ?? I've got a list of other places for things like style sheets but before I do that I need to get the right stuff to use it with. I was thinking of investigating this myself but I don't have the disk space (floppy or harddrive) to d/l EVERYTHING there (I was going to UNTIL I saw how much is there....) In other words.... help......... Andy -- |"The Snark WAS a Boojum, you see!"|Good : acs@unhd.unh.edu | |"Reality !?! ++ I'm interested in using TeX/LaTeX on my 1meg 1040STf. You'll need, at minimum: The binaries for LaTeX/TeX :StTeXBin The style files :StTeXSty The font macros :StTeXTfm If you want to screen-preview, you'll need screen font files (showdvi). If you want to print locally, you'll need printer font files (dvifont). Allow 5Mb. Hithere. I'm looking for a ST version of TeX and a dvi previewer. Do such things exist in the public domain ? If so, where ? Thank you, Bill Grosso

There you will find an implementation of TeX-3.1 for the ST and showdvi, a previewer for DVI files on various ST screens.
