Hello, Does anyone on the net know of a utility which would allow me to convert a bunch of GEM (*.FED) fonts to GDOS format? I use Uniterm V2.0e 011 and it seems that it's font converter (MAKE_UFT.TTP) accepts only GDOS fonts. Please reply by e-mail or followup (I read this group almost every day!) Thank-you. -- -- OO OO Agostino Deligia O O O Systems Architecture O O O Concordia University, Montreal (Canada) O OOOO agostino@concour.cs.concordia.ca

I use Uniterm V2.0e 011 yes. i wrote one recently. it is very simple. just swap bytes in all word/long values. i thought i might have posted it with manpager, but maybe not. if you can't write your own, mail me and i'll post it. now that i think of it (since i don't have GDOS), i wrote it the other way 'round (GDOS .fnt -> GEM .fed). still, the transform is symmetrical in that applying it twice gives the original file. GDOS uses (goofy) intel byte order... -bill rosenkra@convex.com -- Bill Rosenkranz |UUCP: {uunet,texsun}!convex!c1yankee!rosenkra Convex Computer Corp. |ARPA: rosenkra%c1yankee@convex.com
