Yeah sure, and who knew about the call for votes?  I didn't: because
I am NOT interested in Z*net much (I occasionally read issues from
atari.archive), SO I IGNORED ALL THE Z*NET TALK!

Jon_Clarke@kcbbs.gen.nz hasn't properly observed usenet voting procedure.

I too skipped the Z*Net discussions and thus saw *NO* call for voting. 

Mr. Clarke, please consult the usenet etiquette sources for voting on usenet
topics and proceed accordingly. The procedures have been set up to avoid
exactly these sorts of problems.
