What's the true recipe for determining where desk accessories are loaded from? Is it TOS version dependent? I'm trying to set up multiple environments with boot floppies, and somehow, even when the AUTO folder on drive a: is used, even when I tell SUPERBOOT to use accessories from a:\ (and it offers a menu of them), SOMEHOW the desk accessories always seem to get loaded from c:\ (and none of the hard disk partitions is marked bootable). Am I going to have to take desperate measures like running the hard disk driver from the desktop? What's a tinkerer to do? For clarity: Mega 4 ST with TOS 1.2, 1 floppy (internal); ST296N connected to a BMS-200, divided into partitions of 15, 15, 22 and 22 megs (none bootable). AHDI, FATSPEED, FOLDR150, SUPERBOOT, QuickST. Steve saj@chinet.chi.il.us
