[comp.sys.atari.st] Origami folding editor available for ST

michaels@messua.informatik.rwth-aachen.de (Michael Schwingen) (05/03/91)

The new version 1.5.8 (beta) of Origami is finished. Origami is a folding
editor similar to the TDS editor. (Some PC users call it an outline editor.)
It's a little bit difficult to explain the principles of folding editors here,
but there are enough explanations in the documentation. Origami runs on
MINIX 1.5, SunOS 4.1. and on the Atari ST. The source is available for
anonymous FTP from:
     Server: ftp.thp.uni-koeln.de [134.95.64.1]

     Path: minix/beta-test
Files: origami.tar.Z (13-bit compressed tar archive)

If you detect any bugs in the TOS code, please send mail ONLY to Michael
Haardt. He heads beta-testing and would like to see any mails concerning it.
He will forward a copy of TOS specific mails to me.

Send mail to:

DO NOT USE THE ADDRESS IN THE HEADER !

You will probably find mistakes (wrong spelled or wrong grammar) in the
documentation. Correcting such mistakes would be nice (cdiffs!). The Origami
documentation can be formatted with nroff or MROFF.

The beta-test phase will end in June. I will post Origami to comp.binaries.
atari.st then. I will not post any binaries until the beta test ends. I will
not send sources or binaries by mail (I have to pay for mail, even incoming).

In order to compile ORIGAMI on the ST, you will need Turbo C 2.0 and some
utility to convert LF to CR/LF (all source files are in UN*X format, which
is not recognized by TC :-( )
