I have a working PC-Ditto II that I used to use with a 1040ST, but now I have a Mega 2 that has one of those tiny circuit boards soldered onto the 68000, and can't fit the PC-Ditto II adaptor board over it. I would REALLY RATHER NOT take a soldering iron to my motherboard, especially to the cpu, so I was wondering how feasible it would be to build some sort of adaptor cable to plug into the Mega bus. Could someone post the specifications for a Mega bus? I notice that it has the same number of pins as the 68000; are they the same lines, and if so, how are they mapped? I've seen ads for Mega bus adaptors for PC/AT Speed, and the two prices I've seen have been $65 and $79, which leads me to believe that it isn't just a simple line by line adaptor. Does anyone have one of these, and if so, could you describe it? I'm not willing to damage my computer just to be able to use this thing again, but if I can get it attached without too much difficulty, I'd like to know. Thanks in advance for any information you have to offer. Michael Kieras
