After years of searching, I've finally found a printer driver for Panasonic 9 pin printers that seems to work under the Spectre Macintosh emulator! It is available for anonymous ftp from mac.archive.umich.edu (not the same machine as a.a.u.e), or if you'd raher 141.211.168.70 under: /mac/utilities/print/panasonicdriver.sit.hqx I haven't put it through extensive testing, but I was able to print a GIF image in WordPerfect 2.0 in low and high quality modes. It's just a chooser file, so throw it in your system folder, select it under the chooser, and away you go! It's even freeware, so make copies of it for all of your friends! Seems to me that this would make a great freebie for the next spectre PD disk, so if anyone knows Dave Small personally, you might want to point this out to him (he's never responded to the email messages that I've sent).
