Hi Atarians, At atari.archive, in printing/ you will find the following programm: (thanks Jeff!) ------------------------------------------------------------------- HC24_V13.PRG This utility replaces the internal hard-copy routine (for 9 pin printers) by an other one for LQ500 compatible 24 pin printers (high resolution only). At least, it works on my Brother M-1224L... In addition, it respects the x/y ratio (circles on the screen are also circles on the paper) and needs only 1.5Kb. Put it in your \AUTO\ folder. If you have also SPOOL.PRG there, it takes nearly 7.5 seconds on a Mega ST1 and nearly 3 seconds on a Mega STE until you get the control back. Use it at your own risk: it's absolutely free.
