Now that I've *finally* upgraded my archaic early Atari 1040 ST to a new 1040 STe, and am in the process of ordering SIMMS to take me up to 4 meg, I thought I'd ask the knowledgeable community here what public domain/shareware desk accessories they'd recommend. I've pretty much ignored the ST software world because I run a dedicated piece of software (Dr. T's KCS) that uses my meg quite easily; it also did not have a menu bar for a long time. Now I'd like to take advantage of the machine and get: A printing notepad A calculator A phone/address application A command line/utility application Anything else nifty I've either forgotten or did not realize I should have. Also, any recommendable AUTO folder items, or anything else I *must* have. My requirements are that the software be publicly available, be smooth to use, and have been written to play by the rules (ie, won't interfere with other software). Niftiness counts. I don't mind paying for and DO pay for good shareware. If replies are emailed to me directly, I'll assemble them into a 'recommended public domain/shareware profile' and post that to the net. Thanks for any and all information, Phil Z
