[comp.sys.atari.st] memory upgrade board for sale

djw@hpldsla.sid.hp.com (David Williams) (02/22/91)

I have a memory upgrade board for the Atari ST for sale. I
bought it two years ago, but I have never used it. The board
accepts DRAM (not SIMMS) like an IBM-PC, and will allow you to
go to 4Meg on the ST. Installation requires some soldering (but
you knew that anyone), but all you need to know is in the
manual.

I payed about US$250 two years ago (the thing has lots of
sockets!), and your bargain price is only US$125 cash. To
really sweeten the deal, I'll throw in the first 2Megs to get
you started. Straight away you could have 2.5Meg.

I'd prefer to sell to someone in the San Francisco area, but
others are welcome to contact me with some arrangement that
suits them.

Again:

HP doesn't make Atari computers, or memory upgrades for them,
and my employer probably doesn't know they exist.

I have a memory upgrade kit for the 520/1040 type box.
All you need is the memory. Takes it to 2.5/4 megs. Small
modifications necessary to install. Takes ZIP style 1meg chips.
This is the board that came out of england last summer as a
at-cost project. I never installed it. Comes with necessary cable, etc.
First $45 plus shipping takes it.
