I am having a problem with CAD 3d version 2. I recently purchased a second hard drive. In order to get GEM to see it I must run something call INSTAL from Berkeley Microsystems in my Auto folder. I am booting using Atari AHDI 3.01. When I do this CAD 3d bombs out. If I do not install the second drive when booting the program runs ok. Does anyone know of an alternate startup program that will allow access to all drives and still permit Cad 3d to run? The usual situation is that one simply runs AHDI and any number of ACSI-SCSI drives are recognized. I've run 2 hard drives off a BMS-200 that way (along with a cartridge tape). It is just imaginable that you're installing 2 conflicting hard disk drivers. Have you called BMS with this problem? They tend to be very helpful. Steve saj@chinet.chi.il.us
