Hello, I have been having a problem with the Rodneys uucp
package, that I hope someone can clear up for me. I've received the
entire package, decompacted and set everything up correctly. When I
poll my host, it logs in it goes through all the Shere=hostname
Ssitename, ROK Pg Ug, but when it gets time to pass and sync up the
window and packet sizes (inita, b and c) It just times-out and
quites.
The hosts log files says something to the effect;
'protocal not supported', Which is probably why the init a/b/c
procedure dies. Could this be because his uucico does not like
the window/packet sizes I'm sending? I've tried windows of 3 and 7,
and packets of 64 and 1024...
Any and all comment, words of encouragment, etc. will be greatly
appreciated.
Net responce is fine or mail to:

Has anyone who has used Rodneys Uucp package been able to
have it retrieve files from a remote site.
Example:
on the remote side > uucp -r foo hoser\!~
queue up foo on the remote side.
from hoser > poll remote
hoser logs on to remote and gets file foo.
file foo should go into remotes public directory which
is c:\etc\spool\uucp\remote BUT it goes into c:\etc\spool\mqueue as
~a/weirdname and any files that may have been queued along with foo
with just overwrite this file. I would appreciate any help.
I probably need to explicitly tell the remote where to put the file.
