[comp.sys.atari.st] G++ for ST, where again?

frans@nlsca.uucp (Frans Meijer) (06/04/91)

A few weeks ago, somebody announced G++ 1.39 (and gcc 1.39) for
the ST. It was available from an FTP site in Germany (where else? :-),
I think. Anybody remember where it was??
Viele Thanks in advance

I know only the ethernet adress of that node, I cant remember the name:
 it was 134.95.64.1, its somewhere in koeln in germany
The stuff is in atari/gnu/g++/cs, but it has no debugger :-(

I have tried repeatedly over the last week to ftp to this site, but it
is unresponsive. Does anyone know of another site which might have the
same stuff?

Alternately, could some kind soul who has a working connection to the
uni-koeln site upload the stuff to atari.archive?

Thanks...

Christoph Strunk's port of gcc 1.39, g++ 1.39.0 and libg++ 1.39.0 is on

	ftp.thp.Uni-Koeln.DE [134.95.64.1]

	~ftp/pub/atari/gnu/g++/cs

(If this doesn't work you can try ftp.Uni-Koeln.DE [134.95.80.1]:/thp/atari.)

Hope this helps.

Just another depressing instance of "It's not what you know, but who you know

Done. It's on atari.archive, in ~ftp/atari/gnustuff/g++139.lzh. along with
inc++.lzh. I haven't managed to track the lib++ down yet though.
