(homxa!raz) Dennis Wilson has not toured with the Beach Boys for the last three years. But, he did do one concert this past year as a favor to one of his brothers, I believe. The reason he left the BB's was due to the fact that he married Mike Love`s 17 year old daughter, against Mike`s wishes. Love's daughter was the one who requested Dennis be buried at sea. Concerning 99 Balloons, the song was inspired by a Rolling Stones concert, in West Berlin. Apparently, the song writer for the group that sings this song was present and when the Stones let hundreds of balloons lose in the air he/she noticed one of them floating over the wall into East Berlin. The writer fantasized about how easy it could be for something as innocent as a red balloon starting WWIII. This is the absolute fact about the origin of the song, it you watched PM Magazine a few weeks ago you could have heard both versions of the song (German/English) and met the group. Randy Dazzo
