To: comp.sys.amiga@MILANO.SW.MCC.COM Here line eater, eat this. Actually this is my first post to the net. Hello. Back before I figured out how to post (I've been reading a couple of months now) Someone asked about a communication package to use with the transformer. I lost who it was, so in case you haven't found one try Crosstalk. I used it before the latest up date. The latest update added the kermit protocol and was supposed to fix the xmodem protocol (they have their own protocol which works quite well between to crosstalk systems even if one is an amiga). I am using the latest version with kermit on my clone and the kermit protocol and vt100 emulation work quite well. I've not tried it on my amiga, but I will if anyone cares (it requires going back to workbench 1.1). The person who requested this info also mentioned speedy3. I would like to have info on it or an executable (I don't know "C" and don't have a compiler). Oh yes, If xmodem transfer is important, I think there was another communication package that ran, with a better xmodem. I won't look tho unless requested. Disclamer: My employer denies that I exist, and apologises for any electronic or other interference that may originate from this location. Aubrey Sparkman ARPA: Pkg.sparkman@mcc.com -------
