gary@ism780c.UUCP (Gary Swift) (12/18/86)
I'm asking this for someone else who doesn't have direct access
to the net. (I've never worked on an Amiga so I wasn't able to
help much.)
His problem is that he has a C program, which seems to get hung
in memory, i.e., it doesn't get released after it "exits".
It uses overlays and is compiled with the Manx compiler. He has
found documentation stating that segments are not unloaded
(automatically), but hasn't been able to find any information
telling him how to do it.
If you have any experience with overlays on the Amiga and can
help this guy out, please give him a call:
Gary Schultz, work: (818) 360 3715, or home: (818) 360 0188
or send me email with your name and number and I'll have him call
you.
