I may actually be in a position where I could afford an Amiga. I was speaking with a friend and he said that someone in this group had posted an address to a place that sold refurbished Amigas at a lower price that you could get one for retail. I'm interested in getting a system unit, the 256k expansion, 1080 (1070 if possible) monitor, and also an extra disk drive. I haven't gone shopping yet, but I would like to pay something under $1300 American for all this mess. If you could supply me with an address and phone number of a place that sells refurbished Amigas, I would greatly appreciate it. -- Real net users let other people find the reply path!!

I just bought a 512K Amiga with a 1080 monitor for $975. They told me I could get it with the external disk driver for $1175. I have no problem with it. In fact, I can't even tell that it was ever used before except for a sticker on the box that says "REFURBISHED." Anyhow, the name of the place is Microcomputer Systems, and the phone number is either 1-800-443-7756 or 1-800-433-7756. I don't remember which is correct. -- Michael S.
