I'm back. It took about 2 hours for me to catch up on the net. In any case, there were a couple of questions pertaining to me which I will answer: -MYLIB Part II. I didn't know my second posting failed until I got back, so I just reposted it today. -Shell distribution: I forgot to update the VERsion command. it current says '2.03 .. Oct..' instead of '2.04'. The source says 2.04 because I was able to modify the shar file before I sent it out on the net (but fixing the binary would have meant having to re-download whole bunches of stuff). In anycase, it's only cosmetic. -Somebody reported an instance of failure in my shell's '^' search/replace. But I've gotten only one report. If anybody does find bugs in the program, please mail me and include the exact circumstances under which the shell failed. -Somebody else reported that redirecting .SH files (shell scripts) doesn't work. He's right, it doesn't. Doing so can leave hanging file handles in the system although in the instance reported it apparently crashed the machine. Oh, by the way, I'm working on a text editor... mainly for programmers, and will distribute it as soon as it's distributable (between 1 and 2 weeks). It's major features are: FAST (it can keep up with a held down cursor key), and MAPABLE (you can map any physical key on the keyboard, including qualfier combinations, yielding a total of 704 possible different maps.) -Matt
