[comp.sys.amiga] Mac v. Amiga v. ST, etc.

Flame on:

OK guys. I may not be the most technically oriented, but I remember
about two or three years back when my *junior high* school friends and I
fought about which computer was best: the C-64 or the Atari 400/800/800XL.
Then Jobs & Co. made the Mac, Jay Miner & Co. made the Amiga, Commodore
bought Amiga, Tramiel bought Atari, the ST was introduced, and we *finally*
had real computers to use, not the pseudo-computers of the Apple // & IBM PC
variety.

Now we have a bunch of hi-tech freaks fighting about which
computer is the best: Amiga, Atari and Mac. WE WILL NEVER KNOW!!!!!!
If we keep fighting about which computer has the best feature (price,
multi-tasking, text ability, etc.) who will write the software??

Give it up guys. All three machines have their own separate, in-
dividual qualities. I own an Atari ST; I couldn't afford an Amiga or
a Mac. If I had the money, I'd own all three. Since OSU has plenty of
Macs and just beginning to get a few Amigas, I have the best of all three
worlds.

Here's a hint: why not get the port of MINIX to the Amiga and the
Atari (and the Mac?) and knock the socks off of Itty Bitty Machines. But,
alas, we will have mental six-year olds fighting about which machine can
jump higher, fly faster or do the most things at the same time. Oh well...

Flame off. Ok, quit fighting and post more of that good PD software to
the net.

Andy...
