Any recommendations for a 9 track tape subsystem for something like an IBM AT or clone? We're looking at putting together a hands on data conversion upload/download system for faculty, etc. Keywords here are CHEAP but reasonable quality. QUIC-02 cartridges and stuff like bernoulli drives come to mind as well, but initially the 9 track seems most economical in terms of data storage and cost of media. Send me mail. I'll summarize to the net at a later date, as I will for the preceding couple articles I posted. -- The views above are those of my keyboard, not my organization.
