-- Juat out of sheer boredom, I was glancing through the pages of Feb '87 issue of MacWorld in the library. Then I saw an article entitled "The PC revolution in Higher Education," by David Bunnell. The article was about the "Educom '86" conference. I started reading the article, and, as you might expect, there was no mention of Commodore. But they did mention Apple, IBM, DEC, etc... But, one of the two pictures with the article was captioned "There was great enthusiasm for developing innovative applications at this conference of 1600 scholars." The picture showed 7-8 scholarly looking people looking at the screen of this computer, and they all seemed like they enjoyed what they were seeing... And, the computer was an Amiga.
