I went to see my dealer the other day. As soon as I walked through
the doorway, my dealer said, "please buy, Please Buy, PLEASE BUY!".
"Sure," I said, "do you have this nifty new wordpro I've been hearing
about, that has 8 color windows, fonts, etc? Think its called
ProWrite." Well, my dealer *insisted* that ProWrite was _vaporware_.
Yes, we all know that people have seen it at conventions. Yet
Until it gets on the shelves, New Horizons corp is not going to be
making any bucks. So, in short, my anxious dealer claims he can't
order it cause it doesn't exist. And if HE says that, I am inclined
to believe him...

By the way, I am enjoying the printer-flame wars. Sort of like the
mayoral debates in Chicago :-). I'd just like to report that my
Epson clone works fine and GraphicDump even prints out one of Dave
Wecker's ray-traced images in HAM mode. So for me the printer
device works fine.

One last comment before I shut up -- the printer flamer author said
he was using NotePad. I was bored of emacs for a (very) short while,
so spent a day twiddling the NotePad. I have found so many bugs or
bad features that I quickly returned to emacs (and MED occasionally).
If Commodore really wants a list of a typical user's dislikes of
certain NotePad "features", I will be glad to spend two hours and
mail them a note.

Sorry! One final report:
EMACS BUG: Commmodore's enhanced Emacs, latest distribution: I
C-X C-K define Key'd a key with 60 characters of text. I pressed
this key 10 times. This should produce 600 chars. Since EMACS
has a 256 chars/line limit, I was expecting it to wrap. Instead
I was greeted with a software error guru. Other emacs developers
(eg mg1, or whatever its called) may want to check for this error.
