I think that a large paperwhite monitor would be an excellent addition to the Amiga. The strength of this monitor would be that it could display 700x 525 (or something like this) with ease and with no strobing or flicker. It also would be able to output 16 levels of grey scale for shading and anti- aliasing (of graphics and TEXT!). This monitor could be used as either a replacement for (many applictaions don't "need" color) or as a supplement to an RGB monitor. The beauty of this method is that programs would need to only undergo minor alterations to take advantage of the higher resolution. Also, all Amigas with composite output could use this monitor and an RGB monitor simultaneous without having to make any physical modifications to the Amiga. -Jonathan C. Kagle
