Does anybody know the details of the KickStart disk. I've not had a lot of
success in disecting it. The guy who produced KickBench must have some idea,
but I don't think he is on the net.

Basically, I'm trying to learn the details of how the Amiga boots. I've learned
a few details from the manuals and made some guesses which appear to be true.
One interesting thing: AmigaDOS seems to be started up by the code which is
placed on a WorkBench disk by the Install command. It does an OpenLibrary
of dos.library which appears to be the critical thing that code does. If you
wanted to put your own DOS onto your WorkBench disk, you'd probably want to
set up a fancy boot strap in that boot block.

I would guess that some of the non-multitasking games take over the machine
in just this fashion.

So, has anybody learned more of these details?
