An everybody thought that Jerry Pournelle hates the Amiga. This is what he had to say regarding the Amiga in his InfoWorld article on the West Cost Computer Faire (the same issue full of the IBM announcements): "Another outfit that desperately needed to be at the Faire was Commodore. The Commodore Amiga A2000 is potentially one of the most exciting machines to be introduced this year. The First Amiga User Group had an A-2000, and everyone was suitably impressed with it. It is a pity Apple couldn't spare one of the Mac IIs for one of its user groups to show. It would have been the hit of the show. As it was, the Amiga A2000 got a lot of attention, while the Atari user groups and developers showed off new software for the Atari ST". -- Marco
