I am looking for a version of ARC that works on Sun Workstations.
I have three copies, System V arc (also on a Fish Disk), BSD Arc,
and Unix Arc from the Simtel Archives. All compile and run, all
are self consistent (an arc created by each version can be dearc'd
by that same version) all generate unreadable arc.016 files on the
Amiga. I would bet dollars to donuts that the problem lies in the
VAX vs. Sun (68020) Byte ordering differences however I haven't had
time to dig into it yet. So before I do, has *anyone* got a version
of Arc that runs on Sun Workstations already that works ? Send me
a *pointer* not the code if you do, if it is based on one of the
ones I already have then we can save money by exchanging diffs.
