[comp.sys.amiga] Manx Z editor bug report

flaps@utcsri.UUCP (04/19/87)

This is how to duplicate that bug with the Z editor. Enter the editor
(these instructions assume you have nothing in the buffer), then first make
a line of a's by typing 'i', holding down 'a' for awhile (until the cursor
goes down to the next line), then pressing esc. Next, make it bigger by
typing "YppkkJJ". Then duplicate it: "Yp". Then encounter the bug by
typing "kwhi<CR>" (where <CR> means to press the return key).

Note: be prepared to reboot. It writes stuff to the screen quick enough to
seriously degrade system performance. You can still use your system, but
will find disk access and screen access very very slow.
